בעמ' [2] שלאחר עמוד השער של שלושת הכרכים, מופיע קטע בשם "אייניגע אפראבאטיכאנען" ("Einige Approbationen") שבו שלוש המלצות שהן "מעין הסכמות" לספר, יחד עם ציון העובדה כי החתומים על ההמלצות - יהושע מליסא; אייכל, יצחק; ודוד פרענקל - הזמינו מראש עותקים של הספר. התאריך הרשום בתחתית ההמלצות של יהושע מליסא ואייכל, יצחק הוא תקס"ב, משמע שהן צורפו למהדורה הראשונה. התאריך הרשום בתחתית המלצתו של דוד פרענקל הוא תקס"ז, כלומר, המלצה זו מאוחרת יותר וצורפה רק למהדורה השניה.

Bayerische StaatsBibliothek; Oxford OLIS and Bodleian Pre-1920 Catalogues. ככל הנראה, המהדורה הראשונה היתה קטנה ולכן לא נותרו ממנה עותקים, ורמז לכך ניתן ללמצוא בהקדמת המחבר למהדורה השניה (תורת לשון - חלק א', עמ' [6]), הטוען כי המהדורה הראשונה אזלה במהירות. גם העותק שבידי של מהדורת 1807 נדיר וצולם עבור פרוייקט הגיף הקודם, ככל הנראה בספריית המוזיאון הבריטי, אך המספר הקטלוגי על גבי העותק הזה מטושטש. לא הצלחתי לאתר ספר זה בקטלוג המקוון של ספריית המוזיאון הבריטי. |
